Com 10 anos de atividade no cenário cultural brasileiro, a Galeria Estação impôs o seu perfil mostrando artistas não eruditos,  inserindo-os no mercado da arte contemporânea.

Convidamos curadores, professores e críticos de arte acostumados com a cena contemporânea para escrever e curar sobre nossos artistas. Dessa maneira eles passaram a ocupar e dividir os espaços da mídia especializada no cenário artístico cultural.

Com exposições dentro e fora do território brasileiro como, entre outras, a exposição  “ Histoire de Voir” na Fondation Cartier pour l’Art Contemporain – Paris (França) em 2012,  a Bienal Entre dois Mares- São Paulo | Valencia na Espanha em 2007, temos divulgado o nome de nossos artistas.

Vários têm suas obras no acervo de importantes colecionadores brasileiros, bem como em instituições de ponta tais como a Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo, o Museu Afro Brasil em São Paulo, o Pavilhão das Culturas Brasileiras em São Paulo e o MAM- Museu de Arte Moderna do Rio de Janeiro.

With 10 years of activity on the Brazilian cultural scenario, the Estação Art Gallery has strongly presented its profile, showing non-erudite artists and inserting them in the Brazilian contemporary art market.

We have invited curators, teachers and art critics, used to the contemporary scene, to write about our art and be curators for these. In this way, they have started to occupy and share space in the specialised media, within the cultural artistic scene.

With exhibitions both inside and outside Brazilian territory, including the exhibition titled “Histoire de Voir” (A Story of Seeing) at the Cartier Foundation for Contemporary Art – Paris (France) in 2012,  the Biennial Between Two Seas, in São Paulo (Brazil) and Valencia (Spain) in 2007, we have further publicised the names of our artists.

Many of our artists have their works shown in the collections of important Brazilian art collectors, as also in leading institutions in the field, such as the Pinacothèque of the State of São Paulo, the AfroBrazil Museum in São Paulo, the Pavilion of Brazilian Cultures, in São Paulo, and the Museum of Modern Art (MAM) in Rio de Janeiro.
